SUMMARY:EMHR’s Women on the Water Sojourn
DESCRIPTION:Register\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				July 31-August 2 \nCalling all women who love exploring new hobbies and spending time outdoors! EndlessMountains Heritage Region is partnering with Susquehanna Kayak & Canoe Rentals andEndless Mountains Outfitters to present an exciting new event opportunity designed just forwomen. Women on the Water is a three-day paddling experience featuring engaging andeducational workshops that inspire participants while highlighting conservation efforts andoutdoor resources. \nCamping accommodations each night will be at Camp Lackawanna\, located at 1219Vosburg-Neck Road\, Tunkhannock\, PA 18657 at Merrill Lodge. There will be shared cabinswith up to 10 bunks available for an extra fee or you can bring your own tent and camp inthe field. Participants also have the option to meet at Camp Lackawanna the eveningbefore the first day’s paddle (Thursday\, July 30) to set up their camp and settle in before anearly start the next morning. Thursday’s welcome activity will feature a night hike withKelley Stewart from Keystone College. Each morning will offer a wake-up yoga class to startyour day with stretches before heading to the Susquehanna River. \nWorkshops to look forward to: Wilderness survival\, herbalism\, essential oils\, foraging\, foodpreservation\, how to plan a trip\, fishing\, a presentation by Daughters of the AmericanRevolution Tunkhannock Chapter\, and more! This event will also feature keynote speakersto be announced at a later date. \nThe cost for the event will include guided trip\, insurance\, 3 meals for each days\, workshops throughout the weekend\, a commemorative event T-shirt\, and other take home goodies. Kayak rental is available for an additional cost. Participants must be at least 16 years old. Registration is limited and closes on Friday\, July 24\, so reserve your spot now! \n			\n				Register
