The EMHR will be hosting its annual grant workshop on Friday, January 31, 2025, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Dietrich Theater (60 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). New to this year’s workshop is the additional and optional grant writing class with Linda Falcone of Penn State Extension and Kimberly Jennings of Northern Tier Regional Planning & Development Commission from noon to 1 p.m., immediately following the regular workshop.
Grants pertaining to outdoor recreation, historic preservation, community and economic development, event promotion, and more will be discussed. There will be speakers from various state and regional agencies and organizations who will speak about various grant opportunities and grant writing assistance available to you, your organization, or municipality. A special Q&A session will follow.

This grant workshop is free to the public and will last approximately three hours in the Evans theater room. The optional grant writing class will be an additional hour in the theater’s community room. It is the EMHR’s hope this grant workshop will assist our area’s businesses, non-profit organizations and municipalities in attaining funding for initiatives and projects that will benefit our communities and make our region stronger.
