Earth Day Hike at Vosburg Neck State Park

Celebrate Earth Day outdoors with the Endless Mountains Heritage Region by joining us at Vosburg Neck State Park on Saturday, April 26! Participants should arrive at the state park (470 Vosburg Road, Tunkhannock, PA 18657) by 1 p.m. and should wear appropriate clothing and footwear (hiking shoes or boots) and have a sufficient supply of water with them.
During the hike, participants will hear from Environmental Education Specialist from DCNR, Amanda MacTarnaghan, who will share the history of the Howland Preserve and how DCNR acquired the property, as well as some updates on the park.
The event is free and open to the public, however, we ask that you register for this event so we may get an accurate headcount and prepare for the hike.
