Thank you to all of those who attended our fourth Endless Mountains Outdoor Recreation Roundtable at the @dietrichtheater yesterday, as well as our friends from Vosburg Neck State Park and PA State Rep. Tina Pickett for being our guest speakers! It was a great discussion about the outdoor economy and various park and trail projects going on around the region. CALL TO ACTION! As you may have heard, the EMHR is in pursuit of a National Heritage Area designation and is currently undergoing our feasibility study with Point Heritage Development Consulting. As a state-designated Heritage Area for over 25 years, we are hoping to move to the next level and become the seventh nationally designated Heritage Area in Pennsylvania, which would undoubtedly lead to more awareness, tourism, and funding for the region we serve. It’s vital to the process that we receive feedback from the public, our heritage partners, state and local leaders, area businesses, recreationalists, and stakeholders from across the four counties of Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Wyoming, which make up our region. The survey will take just a few minutes of your time, but the information we receive from you is invaluable! Please take the survey before the end of June to ensure we receive your feedback!
